Fair monetization, for everyone
Readme is a decentralized encyclopedia, a Web3 SocialFi project that offers fair incentives for high-quality content. It addresses fair monetization and incentivizes decentralized moderation, rewarding authors and readers for their valuable contributions.
Built for everyone passionate about writing high-quality content
Prioritizes quality over influence, enabling creators without a wide social media audience to earn for their content.
Promotes fair rewards distribution: Users earn for article views post-moderation and ad placements.
Aims to become a leading Web3 academy, aggregating comprehensive knowledge about all aspects of crypto.
Community-owned: $READ holders own and govern the Readme platform.
How does it work?
To post an article, authors are required to burn a small amount of $READ tokens.
Upon submission, each article undergoes an automatic plagiarism check. Articles with less than 70% uniqueness are not further published on the platform.
Following this, the article is placed in the Sandbox for community moderation.
Community members read and upvote articles they support, costing them 1 Karma point per vote.
Each day, an algorithm identifies the top articles based on the most upvotes relative to the total number of readers in the Sandbox and promotes them to the main Readme section.
After being posted in the main section, articles earn payouts based on reader counts. Moderators who voted for the articles that were promoted receive an additional 2 Karma points each.
Both the Author and the Moderators who voted for the best articles begin to receive payouts.

Supply mechanics

token: Balanced economy
Supply mechanics
Rewards for article reads and link clicks are accrued in the platform's native token, $READ, while the rewards for ad placements are paid in stablecoins.
As the platform grows and ad revenue increases, the $READ incentives emission slows down.
Authors need to pay $READ to publish articles.
This mechanic ensures that creators contribute only high-quality, valuable content to the platform.
Demand mechanics
Moderators can buy extra Karma points.
Initially, users receive 20 Karma points to vote on articles they deem useful and of high quality.
Each time they vote, they spend 1 Karma point and if the article gets published in the Main section of the platform, they receive 2 points.
Authors spend $READ to get Premium.
Premium opens additional features to Authors and increases the visibility of their content in the Sandbox. They also open extra ads slots to the Authors thus increasing their stablecoin revenue from ads.
They can buy extra points if they want.
Staking as a revenue-sharing model.
All users can stake $READ to receive a 50% share of ad placement yields generated by the platform.
